Andrabi visits Peer Budhan Ali Shah Shrine, Offers Chaadar, Prays for Peace | KNO

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 24 (KNO) : Minister of State for Hajj & Auqaf, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Power, Industries and Commerce, Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi on Friday paid obeisance at ZariatSharief Peer Budhan Ali Shah at Satwari Jammu. On the occasion, Minister offered a Chaadar (Shawl) at the shrine and attended special prayers which were led by Imam, Hafiz Mohammad Aazim Ali. The Minister prayed for prosperity, development and peace of the Jammu and Kashmir. Administrator Auqaf Jammu, Wakeel Ahmad Bhat who accompanied the Minister during his tour, briefed the Minister about the achievements registered by the Auqaf Jammu. The Minister asked the concerned for better upkeep of Auqaf properties and assets. He also asked the concerned to ensure cleanliness in and around the premises of the shrine. During the tour, the Minister met various devotees who came to shrine for offering prayers and enquired from them about the facilities being available at the shrine. The devotees suggested and projected various issues including opening of ATM facilities at the premises of the shrine. The Minister heard them patiently and said that he will take up the matter of opening of ATM with the concerned quarter on priority (KNO)
